RMPFS – Royal Mail Dispute

Enquiries have been received over the position of CWU members in Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions (PFS) in regard to the current industrial action ballot in Royal Mail. This LTB is intended to provide clarification.

RMPFS is a separate bargaining unit and a legally separate entity from Royal Mail Group and the issues currently in dispute do not directly affect RMPFS members. The Union cannot include those members in the RMG industrial action ballot. Only those employees balloted can be called upon to take subsequent industrial action and the Union cannot therefore legally call upon members in RMPFS to participate in any industrial action arising from the dispute and ballot.
If industrial action is called, appropriate advice will be issued before it takes place.
