GRENFELL SECOND ANNIVERSARY EVENTS – 14^THAND 15^TH JUNE 2019

As branches will be aware, 14^th June 2019 marks the second anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire in which 72 people lost their lives. The purpose of this LTB is to notify branches of two events taking place to mark this.

Firstly, on 14^th June there will be a silent walk in North Kensington from Notting Hill Methodist Church, Lancaster Road, London, W11 4AH at 7pm. The march is in remembrance of those who lost their lives and will involve members of the local community affected by the fire and representatives from the FBU.

Secondly, on 15^th June there will be a solidarity rally from midday, assembling at Portland Place, London, W1A 1AA. This is organised by Justice 4 Grenfell and the Grenfell Trust and will be highlighting the local community’s continued fight for justice.
