Research survey – Work and Employment in Parcel Delivery
The CWU is working with researchers from the Centre for Decent Work, University of Sheffield, on a project to document working conditions in parcel delivery. The overall aim is to collate evidence that will help improve working conditions in the parcel delivery sector in the future.
We are writing to ask for your support in this project by completing the survey at the following link: Survey link: Exploring Work and Employment in the Parcel Delivery Sector.
Your participation will help to build a picture of working conditions across the parcel sector which can then be used to assist in lifting labour standards and securing a new deal for workers.
The survey takes around 15 minutes to complete and offers you the chance to enter a prize draw with first prize of £100, second prize of £60 and third prize of £40 in shopping vouchers.
Please do pass the survey link on to anyone else you know who works in parcel delivery to complete, whether or not they are a CWU member.
The researchers have also provided a poster with a QR code linking to the survey which you can print off to display in your workplace to invite others to take part.
Yours sincerely,
Dave Ward,
General Secretary

Martin Walsh,
Deputy General Secretary Postal
