TUC Webinar – Health and Safety in a Changing Climate: Wednesday 3 July 2024, 2pm – 3pm

The TUC have announced a Webinar on Health and Safety in a changing climate which will take place on Wednesday, 3 July 2024, 2pm to 3pm.

This webinar is designed to help equip health and safety reps with the skills to protect Union members from climate change-related hazards.

This is an open invitation to affiliated Trade Union members, aimed at health and Safety Reps but all Reps can Join the panel of experts who will raise awareness of the impacts of climate change on occupational health and safety, encourage organising around climate change, towards

a ‘just transition’ and introduce union initiatives which are making an impact.

Speakers/Presenters:-

  • Rory O’Neill, Editor of Hazards Magazine and OSH advisor to the International Trades Union Congress.
  • Sarah Lyons, Lead Officer for Health, Safety and Environment, NEU, who will introduce the Joint Union Heatwave Protocol
  • Graham Petersen, who will talk through some of the impact being made by the Trade Union Clean Air Network.
