Dear Colleagues,
Please see attached the November edition of Safe and Well newsletter with contributions from our USRs and field teams with articles on the launch of the new safety helmets which is a tremendous achievement. The newsletter also highlights the importance of making sure there is a responsible adult at customer premises before starting work. There is a focus on Scaffolding following a request from a USR for more information to share around, a closer look at RWG relating to pedestrian clearways, the continuing push on Awkward Bodies Campaign plus the flag for Road Safety Week. Also there is an article looking at safer lifting and an invitation to track down the germs this winter. There are a few items relating to electrical safety plus a reminder where not to store oily rags in vehicles. And a few other “safety pins” – those things you probably don’t think you need but you certainly find useful eventually.
