RE: New Conduct Agreement Update
Further to the positive vote in the ballot, the launch of the new Conduct Agreement will take place on Monday, 3 August 2015.
Branches will be aware the new agreement has been developed jointly to support a different approach with an emphasis on informal resolution and is corrective rather than punitive. Another key change in the process is the new approach to precautionary suspension.
The new agreement also clarifies the definitions of delay.
As with the Attendance Procedure we will be issuing booklets to Branches in due course.
For information purposes please find the Royal Mail Communications to their managers attached to this LTB.
Any conduct case that is instigated on or after the 3 August 2015 will come under the new agreement.
